Colorfx is committed to putting responsible practices into place. Increasingly, print buyers are hearing from their consumers to "get green". In response to this growing demand, print buyers are specifying printed materials that meet the standards of global protection agencies.
Colorfx has achieved certification by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the
Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI)
and the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). Each of these accreditations and
their associated labels communicate that the products originated from forests that are managed to strict environmental standards.
And, Colorfx is the only printer in Iowa to hold all three globally recognized certifications (FSC, SFI, PEFC).
Chain of custody, or CoC, validates the supply chain, from the forest to the mill, from the merchant to the printer.

As part of the CoC, Colorfx is able to track and record the possession and transfer of wood and fiber from the forest
of origin, through the different stages of production, to the end user. Tri-certification allows us to provide you with another option to meet your needs
As part of our continued efforts to become a leader in environmental responsibility, Colorfx uses soy inks and has a rigorous recycle program. Employees are trained and educated on the benefits of putting responsible practices into place while at work and at home. We believe the world benefits when all of us do our part to protect the environment.
